General event info

Short outline of event purpose/profile
The 52nd IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference will be addressing current new priorities in the PV sector by offering a diverse technical program divided into eleven areas covering the breadth and depth of PV science, manufacturing, reliability, deployment, policy and sustainability. The recurring annual event will bring together a slate of exciting keynote, plenary and invited speakers sharing up-to-date research summaries and breakthroughs.

Dissemination activity/partner’s role at the event
SPHINX’s partner Fraunhofer-ISE, represented by Daniel von Kutzleben and Najwa Abdel Latif, is scheduled to present two oral contributions on matrix shingling at the event: ‘Advancements in Shingle Matrix Technology for High Volume Production’ and ‘Reliable and Automatable Solution for Shingle Bussing’ (on Friday 14th June).

In addition to this, via our partners attending the event, the project plans to meet with potential stakeholders, linked projects and activities and possible future clients for our industrial partners.
The IEEE PVSC is a world-wide event, attracting thousands of participants (for conference and exhibition), one of the most important for the sector and we are honoured to have our project represented.
