The second General Assembly of the SPHINX EU project was hosted – jointly – by our partners Fraunhofer ISE and M10 in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany on 22nd and 23rd of April.
On the first day of the meeting, after an update of the project status from the management team, part of the technical work (WPs) was presented. The focus has been on the work currently done (and related challenges) regarding the development of PV products and the scale up of the technology (including equipment automation).
Later in the afternoon, all ~30 participants got the chance to visit the productions facilities of the hosting partners. It has been an honour having the opportunity to see where the new SPHINX products will be produced.
On the second day of the meeting, the discussions focused on the planning of the demonstration of the results and the preliminary evaluation of possible impact assessment (economical, environmental, etc.), without missing the chance to brainstorm on how on increase visibility, outreach and impact of the project via the planned dissemination activities and available tools.
We thank all partners for the successful meeting and in particular the hosts for creating such an inspiring work atmosphere.
