SPHINX General Assembly in Chambéry

Surrounded in the breathtaking Alps, the SPHINX consortium recently gathered in Chambéry for an inspiring two-day General Assembly Meeting, jointly hosted by our partners CEA and HLP on 28–29 April 2026.

The event brought together partners from across the project for a dynamic program filled with technical presentations, collaborative discussions, and exclusive visits to both host facilities. These visits provided fascinating behind-the-scenes insights into the research, development, and production of lightweight PV modules — showcasing innovation in action.

Throughout the meeting, partners shared the latest project achievements, discussed recent demo performances, and explored exciting new developments shaping the future of IPV solutions.

Day two expanded the conversation beyond technology, focusing on key topics such as social barriers to IPV adoption, as well as the project’s economic and environmental impact. The discussions sparked inspiring exchanges of ideas and reinforced the power of collaboration driving the SPHINX project forward.

More than just a meeting, the GA in Chambéry was a valuable moment to reconnect, align on shared goals, exchange knowledge, celebrate the impressive progress achieved over the past year, and prepare for the final phase of the project.
