Our project was presented by project and technical coordinators, Dr. Laurianne Wendling and Dr. Jacques Levrat, at the Solar PV energy projects clustering event organised by CINEA on 25th April 2024.
The workshop brought together almost 30 participants representing 15 running projects, all focusing on BIPV. The meeting started with a presentations from CINEA’s about: the statistics on the current projects (number of projects and amount of funding) and the Solar PV R&I priorities in Horizon Europe.
The goal is to have, by 2030, 42.5% of renewables in the energy production mix with 600 GW deployed (BIPV, infrastructure PV, AgriPV, floating PV,…)
The day continued with thematic discussions focusing on:
- Competitiveness
- Digitalisation and operability
- Sustainability and circularity
The event has been a great opportunity to discuss important priorities for the sector and start networking and clustering activities with linked projects (separate news and information on our website).
